What this covers

This policy covers aidvio.com and the Aidvio application. It explains what personal data we process when you visit the site, run an audit, or hold an account.

What we collect

Account data

Your name, email address and, on paid plans, billing details held by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.

Audit data

The URLs you ask us to crawl, the public content of those pages, the scores we derive from them, the prompts you configure, and the answers the tracked engines return. Audit data is yours. It is not used to train models and it is not shared with other customers.

Usage data

Aggregate analytics about which pages are read and which features are used — and only after you have granted the analytics category on the cookie banner. Nothing that sets a cookie loads before you answer it.

What the crawl touches

Only your public storefront — the same pages a shopper or a search engine sees. There is no app to install, no theme edit and no write access. Where Aidvio drafts a copy fix, that draft sits in a review queue and reaches your store only if you approve it.

Why we process it

  • To provide the service — running audits, scoring pages and producing reports. This is performance of our contract with you.
  • To keep the service safe and working — rate limiting, abuse prevention, error diagnostics. Our legitimate interest.
  • To measure and market — only on the consent you gave, and only for the categories you granted.

Who we share it with

Processors that make the product work: cloud hosting, our payment processor, transactional email, error monitoring, and — where you have consented — the analytics and advertising tools listed in the cookie policy. Each one is bound by a processing agreement. We do not sell personal data.

Prompts you configure are sent to the answer engines being measured. That is the measurement, so it cannot be avoided; do not put confidential information into a prompt.

How long we keep it

  • Account data: for the life of the account, then 30 days.
  • Audit and prompt history: 24 months, or until you delete it.
  • Billing records: as long as tax law requires, typically seven years.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction and objection — and in the UK/EEA the right to complain to your supervisory authority. Email privacy@aidvio.com and we will answer within 30 days.

Transfers

Data is processed in the EEA, the UK and the United States. Transfers out of the UK/EEA rely on the UK IDTA or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

Material changes are announced in the app and dated here. The date at the top of this page is the version in force.
